I first became involved in supporting HR practitioners and groups early in COVID 19 (April 2020) as a CIPD Branch Chair. The need for support has continued to increase dramatically with a June 2025 report finding that 87% of HR Practitioners feel that work support is insufficient, with high rates of burnout, depression and low mood. 63% of HR professionals expect burnout to be "very likely".
