Heart-shaped puzzle with four interconnected pieces

CASE STUDY

Individual Supervision.

The Challenge:

When we started working together, Helen was looking to develop as a coach, build her client portfolio, have a clearer picture of who she wants to coach and be less directive in her interventions.

The Process:

We have met roughly once a quarter for 18 months.

Helen has brought an area of practice for discussion at each of our sessions. These have included:

  • Engaging with clients

  • Exploring different approaches to take with individual clients

  • Maintaining a balance between coaching and consulting in her overall work portfolio

The Outcome:

Helen and I have an ongoing Supervision relationship that we both highly value.  Helen has built up her coaching business growing in confidence in her practice as a coach alongside her work as a consultant.

  • "Steve's supervision has been instrumental in allowing me the time and space to reflect, enhance my self-awareness and uncover potential blind spots. I have particularly valued Steve's ability to help me reflect on my coaching maturity journey including referring me to coaching literature, material or tools where relevant. The relationship feels really collaborative and I hugely value the space to test and kick ideas and challenges around to help me get to a better outcome for my clients, enhance my learning, and ultimately feel more confident in my coaching approach."
